Elder Landon Howe of the Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission was struck by a car while riding his bike the day after Thanksgiving. LDS Church Reports Status Of Missionaries and Members Following 7.5 Earthquake in New Zealand

On Monday morning a 7.5 magnitude earthquake rocked New Zealand. The quake was followed by a tsunami. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints confirmed that all members and missionaries are safe and accounted for. Two people died as a result of the earthquake.
