Hastening the Work of Salvation Website (LDS)

Hasten work of Salvation

The Lord is Hastening the Work of Salvation

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints unveiled a new website called “Hastening the Work of Salvation.” The website is designed to help LDS Church members catch the vision of the work of salvation, learn how they can help and how they can inspire others to help in the work.

The “Hastening the Work of Salvation” website supports The Church’s unified effort in conversion, retention and activation.

The website has resources for

  • Priesthood Leaders
  • Ward Councils and Ward Mission Leaders
  • Members and Missionaries

Purpose of the Hastening the Work of Salvation Website

The website will aid LDS members to gain a revitalized vision of the missionary work. Members who visit the website are encouraged to:

  1. Review the content of the main page to understand The Church’s new vision for the work of salvation.
  2. Study the sections of the website to understand their individual role in helping the work go forward.
  3. Use the members and missionaries page to assist ward members to participate in the work of salvation.

Resources on the home page

Here’s some content found on the homepage:

  • A quote by President Monson, “Wishing will not make it so. The Lord expects our thinking. He expects our action. He expects our labors. He expects our testimonies. He expects our devotion.”
  • Several LDS videos, including: “We Are One- President Thomas S. Monson,” “My Work and My Glory,” “Catch the Wave,” “Let Your Light So Shine,” and “Unity in the Work.”

The website will be available in several languages.  Today at 4 p.m. MST President Thomas S. Monson and other church leaders will give us instruction in a special broadcast.

as i watch the opening remarks of Pres. Thomas S. Monson this october 2013 general conference i was astonished for a rapidly increased of our church members, and the number of full time missionary serving all over the world.

    Pres. Thomas S. Monson. . . .

I am happy to announce that two weeks ago, the membership of the Church reached 15 million. The Church continues to grow steadily,.
It has scarcely been one year since I announced the lowering of the age of missionary service. Since that time the number of full-time missionaries serving has increased from 58,500 in October 2012 to 80,333 today. What a tremendous and inspiring response we have witnessed!

it’s truly testify that our hastening the work of salvation of his children….. through missionary service, full time missionaries, couples and members help for every member is a missionary.

Sirs, please see line 5 of the website:

(Line 4:) “The website has resources for

    (Line 5:) Preisthood Leaders”

    Priesthood is spelled incorrectly.

    Rick Martinez

    1. Thank you for pointing that out, Rick! I just corrected the typo. :)

Thanks for this good resource for a go to place for Hastening the work of salvation. Please continue to be here for us. It is just really taking off now, for some of us here in southern Florida. The support is just what I need, just now. With our new Ft Lauderdale Temple opening, lots of hastening the work of salvation has inspired many and brought to light the spirit of this and what it is all about in a nice bundle.

    1. Thanks Victoria! That’s wonderful how the work is hastening in Florida!
