Recipe: How to Make Italian Carbonara Pasta Sauce


Here’s a simple recipe for making Italian Carbonara Sauce and Pasta (“Spaghetti alla Carbonara”).

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • 500 g (2 cups) Pasta (Spaghetti)
  • 6 eggs
  • 10 strips bacon
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Butter – optional
  • Salt & Pepper

Cooking Directions

  • While pasta is cooking, fry bacon.
  • Drain bacon grease if desired.
  • Crumble bacon in a separate bowl.
  • Beat eggs.
  • Drain pasta, and immediately add eggs.
  • Stir the pasta and eggs over the hot burner to ensure thorough cooking.
  • Add bacon, parmesan, salt, and pepper to taste.
