The Taiwanese clip is actually Mandarin. It’s just a Taiwanese dialect.

Yeah, just to further clarify Steven’s previous comment, he is correct that the “Taiwanese” labeled clip was actually Mandarin, which is the language missionaries sent to Taiwan learn. Taiwanese is a very different dialect which is also widely spoken in Taiwan, but the missionaries don’t learn it (beyond maybe a few simple phrases). The “Mandarin” labeled clip is indeed Mandarin. So you have two Mandarin clips in the video.
